Amanat

A Programme by Care India to empower Frontline Health Workers in rural India

Due to lack to doctors in rural areas in Bihar, most deliveries are carried out by nurses (or ANMs as they mostly known as) who lack knowledge and confidence in performing procedures.

The government of India has started tying up with NGOs and development organisations like Care India who are bridging the knowledge gap by training ANMs, ASHA workers and Anganwadi workers, to avoid deaths at birth and to bring down the maternal mortality rate.
